So we handed the BlogTalk conference baton back to Thomas Burg at BlogTalk Downunder (Sydney, May 2005) and here’s the result: BlogTalk Re-Loaded
"And yes, it’s true. There will be a next BlogTalk.
It’s scheduled for Oct 2-3, 2006.
It will be held in Vienna.
And yes it’ll be on Social Software beyond weblogs but surely it’ll be about blogs too.We did setup a steering committee that’ll guide us through the process of creating a mission statement for the conference and the call for poposals, reviewing, ranking aso.
The conference – I can say that much already – will address researchers, developers, the community of users, and everyone interested in the phenomenon and tools of social software."
Let’s see if we can get a gang together from Australia / New Zealand and head up there – it was kind of lonely being the only Aussie up there last time! 🙂
